Surf Lessons in Trapani is a guided surf school activity based on the west coast of Sicily, near the historic centre of Trapani. Participants learn to surf on sandy beaches with gentle waves, using provided boards and wetsuits. Lessons are led by certified instructors who adapt the session to each participant's skill level.
What to expect
- Lessons last 2 hours, including a 15-minute beach briefing on safety and paddle technique.
- All equipment is included: soft-top surfboard, wetsuit, and leash.
- Sessions take place at San Giuliano Beach, a shallow, sandy break suitable for beginners.
- Instructors provide in-water guidance and push participants into waves for their first rides.
- Suitable for ages 8 and up; non-swimmers can join with a personal flotation device.
- Groups are limited to 8 participants per instructor for individual attention.
