Surf Lessons in Levanzo is a guided surfing programme on the island of Levanzo, off the west coast of Sicily. The lessons take place in the clear waters of the Aegadian Islands, with instructors who tailor each session to your skill level. Equipment, including boards and wetsuits, is provided for all participants.
What to expect
- Each lesson lasts 2 hours, with a maximum of 4 students per instructor for focused coaching.
- All sessions include a modern soft-top surfboard, a 3/2mm wetsuit, and leash, sized to fit you on arrival.
- You will practise paddling, pop-up technique, and wave reading in the sheltered bay of Cala Fredda, where waves are consistent but gentle.
- The lesson begins with a 15-minute land-based warm-up and safety briefing before entering the water.
- Suitable for beginners aged 12 and over, including first-timers who have never stood on a board.
- After the session, you can use the outdoor freshwater shower and secure locker at the beachside base.
