Surf Lessons in Ragusa is a guided surfing programme based on the beaches of Sicily's southeastern coast. The lessons are held at sandy breaks suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers. Qualified instructors provide equipment and safety briefings before each session.
What to expect
- Lessons last 2 hours, including a 30-minute land-based technique tutorial and 90 minutes in the water
- All equipment is provided: surfboard, wetsuit, and leash, sized to your height and skill level
- You will practise paddling, popping up, and riding green waves at a beach break with gentle, rolling swell
- Suitable for first-timers and those who have surfed a few times; minimum age is 8 years
- Groups are capped at 6 students per instructor to ensure individual feedback
- After the session, you can rinse off with outdoor showers and store your gear in the on-site lockers
