Surf Lessons in Lampedusa is a guided surfing programme on the island's southern beaches, where consistent Mediterranean swells meet shallow sandy breaks. The lessons are run by local instructors who tailor each session to your skill level, from first-time paddling to carving green waves. Equipment, wetsuit, and safety briefing are included in every booking.
What to expect
- Two-hour session on the beach at Cala Creta, with a maximum of six students per instructor
- All gear provided: soft-top surfboard, leash, and 3mm wetsuit sized for adults and children
- Warm-up and dry-land technique drills before entering the water, covering pop-up and paddle positioning
- In-water coaching with video playback of your last wave, reviewed on the beach after the lesson
- Suitable for ages 8 and up, including non-swimmers who stay in waist-deep water with a float belt
- Free use of a locker and outdoor shower at the surf shack, plus a bottle of water and fruit snack
