Surf Lessons in Custonaci is a guided surfing programme on the beaches of Custonaci, Sicily, near the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Certified instructors provide board rental and wetsuits for sessions tailored to each participant's skill level. The lessons take place in the clear waters of the Sicilian coast, with waves suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers.
What to expect
- Two-hour group or private lesson with a certified surf instructor on the beach at Custonaci
- All equipment included: surfboard, wetsuit, and leash, sized to your height and weight
- Warm-up and land-based technique drills before entering the water, covering paddling, popping up, and turning
- In-water coaching with video feedback on your last ride, reviewed on the beach after the session
- Suitable for first-timers and surfers with some experience; minimum age is 8 years for group lessons
- Located 200 metres from the free public car park at Baia di Cornino, with showers and a beach bar nearby
