Reaching the venue from the island's main resorts and towns is straightforward, since Palermo anchors the regional transport network. Italian is the everyday language here, and ordering in it earns a warmer exchange than pointing at the menu. Summers on the island turn hot and dry while winters stay mild and wetter, and the June to September stretch draws the largest crowds.
Italian island cooking leans on seafood, handmade pasta, olive oil and local wines, and grilled chicken fits neatly into that casual dining tradition.
