About this experience

Spa & Massage in Pantelleria is a wellness centre located on the volcanic island of Pantelleria, Sicily, offering treatments using local pumice stone and dammuso-inspired relaxation spaces. The facility combines traditional Sicilian massage techniques with thermal heat from the island's natural hot springs. Visitors receive personalised care in a setting that reflects the island's rugged landscape and slow-paced culture.

What to expect

Treatments last 60 to 90 minutes, with options for full-body massages using warm pumice oil extracted from local volcanic rock.
Each session includes access to a private relaxation alcove with heated stone benches and a view of the Mediterranean or the island's terraced vineyards.
Therapists use Pantellerian olive oil and capers in scrubs, followed by a rinse in a rain-style shower with mineral-rich water.
Sessions are suited for adults seeking relief from muscle tension or jet lag, with a pre-treatment consultation to adjust pressure and focus areas.
The spa operates by appointment only, with a maximum of four guests per time slot to ensure quiet and individual attention.
After the massage, guests receive a cup of local herbal tea made from wild fennel and mint, served in the garden overlooking the volcanic caldera.
