Motorbike Rental in Alicudi

About this experience

What to expect

• Rental durations range from half-day (4 hours) to multi-day hire, with helmets and basic insurance included in the quoted price.
• Scooters (125cc) suit paved sections between Alicudi Porto and the upper hamlets, while enduro bikes handle the steep, unpaved tracks toward the 675-metre Monte Montagnola summit.
• Riders receive a paper map marking the main trailheads, water sources, and the locations of the island's three small grocery kiosks.
• Fuel is prepaid at a fixed rate per day, as Alicudi has no petrol station; the rental office supplies a full tank at departure.
• The activity suits confident riders with a valid motorcycle licence (A or B with A1), as roads are narrow, unlit, and shared with donkeys and mule trains.
• Visitors can stop at the 17th-century Chiesa di San Bartolo and the abandoned terraced fields along the western ridge, accessible only by motorised transport.
