Hiking Tours in Marettimo

About this experience

What to expect

• Tours last 4 to 6 hours and cover 8 to 12 kilometres of marked and unmarked paths, with elevation gains up to 600 metres.
• Each tour includes a packed lunch with local bread, cheese, and tomatoes, plus a refillable water bottle and walking poles.
• Routes pass the Punta Troia lighthouse, the abandoned Saracen watchtower at Scalo Vecchio, and the Grotta del Cammello sea cave viewed from above.
• The ascent to Monte Falcone (686 metres) offers a 360-degree view of the Egadi Islands and the Tunisian coast on clear days.
• Suitable for hikers with moderate fitness; the pace is steady with frequent stops for photography and botanical notes on endemic species like the Marettimo violet.
• Small groups of up to 8 people ensure personalised guidance, and the tour ends at the port of Marettimo village, where you can swim at the adjacent pebble beach.
