Drone Photography in Trapani is a guided aerial photography session over the salt pans and historic centre of Trapani, Sicily. Participants fly a provided drone to capture the windmills, the lagoon, and the medieval streets from above. The activity combines technical instruction with local knowledge of the best vantage points.
What to expect
- 90-minute session with a certified drone pilot and a DJI Mavic 3 drone provided for your use
- Includes a pre-flight briefing on Sicilian drone regulations and safe flying practices
- Fly over the Riserva Naturale Saline di Trapani e Paceco to photograph pink flamingos and salt mounds
- Capture the baroque facades of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo from a 120-metre altitude
- Receive a 16GB SD card with all raw and edited images from the flight, transferred to your phone or laptop on site
- Suitable for beginners and hobbyists; no prior drone licence required, but a basic understanding of camera settings is helpful
