About this experience

Coffee Shops in Levanzo is a guided tour of the island's three cafés, located in the main piazza of Levanzo village, Sicily. The tour lasts 90 minutes and includes a tasting of local espresso, almond granita, and a cannolo at each stop. It operates daily from 9:00 to 12:00, with a maximum group size of eight people.

What to expect

Starts at the harbour pier and walks 200 metres to the first café, Bar del Porto, for a standard Sicilian espresso
Includes a 10-minute demonstration of granita preparation at Caffè del Mare, using local almonds and ice from the island's well
Third stop at La Terrazza offers a cannolo with ricotta from a farm in Trapani, served on a ceramic plate made in Caltagirone
Tour duration is 90 minutes, covering 1.2 kilometres of flat, paved walking, suitable for wheelchair users and families with prams
Each tasting portion is small (espresso 30ml, granita 100ml, cannolo 80g), designed for sampling rather than a full meal
The guide provides a printed map of Levanzo's three coffee shops, with opening hours and prices for return visits
