Spa & Massage in Long Beach is a beachfront wellness service located on Perhentian Islands' main stretch of sand. It offers traditional Malay and Thai massage treatments using local coconut oil and herbal compresses. The open-air pavilion sits directly above the tide line, with the sound of waves replacing background music.
What to expect
- Choose from 30-minute foot reflexology, 60-minute full-body oil massage, or 90-minute traditional Malay deep-tissue session
- Therapists use warmed herbal compresses stuffed with lemongrass, ginger, and turmeric sourced from the island
- Treatments include a pre-massage foot wash with sea salt and cold hibiscus tea served after
- The massage platform is shaded by palm fronds, with a view of the turquoise water and passing boats
- Sessions suit travellers with sunburn, muscle fatigue from snorkelling, or those seeking relief from boat-trip stiffness
- No booking required for walk-ins; cash-only payment in Malaysian ringgit, with prices starting at RM60 per hour
