Drone Photography in Lefkes is a guided aerial photography session in the mountain village of Lefkes, Paros. Participants fly a drone over the village's marble-paved alleys and the surrounding Cycladic hills, capturing the contrast of whitewashed houses against the Aegean Sea. The activity provides a practical introduction to drone operation and composition in a historic setting.
What to expect
- Session lasts 90 minutes, including a 15-minute safety briefing and drone handling tutorial.
- A DJI Mini 4 Pro drone and a 32GB memory card are provided for each participant.
- You will capture at least 20 aerial shots of Lefkes' Byzantine churches, including Agia Aikaterini, and the valley towards Parikia.
- Suitable for beginners and hobbyists; no prior drone licence is required, but you must be at least 16 years old.
- The flight path covers three designated take-off points: the central square, the old olive press, and the eastern cliff edge.
- At the end, you receive a digital map of your flight route and a 10-minute one-on-one review of your best frames.
