Diving & Snorkeling in Piso Livadi is a guided underwater activity based at the small harbour of Piso Livadi on the east coast of Paros. Participants explore rocky reefs, seagrass meadows, and small caves in the clear Aegean waters. The activity operates daily from May to October, with sessions lasting about three hours including equipment and a certified instructor.
What to expect
- Sessions last 3 hours, including a 30-minute boat ride to dive sites near the islands of Paros and Antiparos.
- All equipment is provided: wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, and scuba tank for certified divers; snorkelers use mask, snorkel, and fins.
- Divers see octopus, moray eels, and colourful nudibranchs on rocky walls; snorkelers observe fish schools over Posidonia seagrass beds.
- Suitable for beginners: a 20-minute shore-based briefing covers mask clearing and regulator use before the first dive.
- Certified divers can explore a small wreck at 18 metres depth, with visibility typically 15-25 metres.
- Groups are limited to six participants per instructor, ensuring personalised guidance and safety.
