Diving & Snorkeling in Parikia is a guided underwater excursion based at the port of Parikia on Paros, offering access to the island's rocky reefs, seagrass meadows, and small caves. What to expect
- Two-hour guided session includes a 45-minute dive or snorkel at a site chosen by the crew, such as the reef near Livadia Beach or the rocky outcrop off Krios.
- All equipment provided: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit (5mm), and weight belt for divers; snorkellers receive a buoyancy aid and surface marker buoy.
- Divers with a certification (Open Water or higher) explore depths of 5–18 metres, encountering octopus, moray eels, and schools of damselfish; snorkellers stay at 1–3 metres above the same formations.
- Small group size capped at 8 participants per guide, ensuring individual attention and a relaxed pace for beginners and families with children aged 8 and up.
- Pre-dive briefing covers local currents, entry and exit points, and marine life identification; a post-session logbook entry is provided for certified divers.
- Sessions depart from the dive centre at Parikia harbour, with a 10-minute boat ride to the site; morning and afternoon slots are available, and the activity runs in winds up to Beaufort force 4.
