What to expect

A 2-hour session includes a land-based safety briefing and wave-reading tutorial before entering the water.
All equipment is provided: a soft-top surfboard, leash, and rash vest sized to your height and weight.
You will practice paddling, popping up, and riding whitewater waves under one-on-one or small-group supervision (max 4 students per instructor).
The lesson takes place at a sheltered bay near the town pier, where waves are 0.5–1.5 metres high, suitable for first-timers.
After the session, you receive a photo of your best wave and a list of local surf spots for independent practice.
