Dance Studios in Flampouria is a dance activity venue located in the village of Flampouria on the island of Kythnos. It offers structured dance sessions for visitors and residents within a traditional Cycladic setting. The studio focuses on participatory movement, often drawing on Greek and international dance styles.
What to expect
- Sessions typically run for 60 to 90 minutes, led by an instructor who guides participants through step-by-step routines.
- The studio provides a wooden floor, mirrors, and a sound system; you only need to bring flexible clothing and indoor shoes or bare feet.
- Classes accommodate beginners and intermediate dancers, with each session breaking down choreography into repeatable segments.
- You will practice full sequences by the end of the class, with music ranging from traditional Greek folk to contemporary pop.
- The venue suits solo travellers, couples, and small groups seeking a physical activity indoors, particularly on windy or hot days.
- Group sizes are capped at 12 participants, allowing for individual corrections and personalised pacing during the session.
