Diving & Snorkeling in White Sand Beach is a guided water activity based at Koh Chang's main beach on the island's west coast. The trip departs from the sand near the pier and reaches coral reefs within a 15-minute boat ride. Participants use provided masks, fins, and life vests to observe tropical fish and hard corals in shallow, calm water.
What to expect
- Trip duration is 3 hours, including 45 minutes of snorkeling at two separate reef sites and 20 minutes of surface interval with drinking water
- All snorkeling gear, a certified guide, and a life jacket are included in the price; wetsuits are available for rent at the beach kiosk
- You will see parrotfish, clownfish, and blue starfish among table corals at depths of 2 to 5 metres
- The boat holds a maximum of 12 guests, and the guide points out moray eels and sea urchins during the second stop
- Suitable for first-time snorkelers and children aged 8 and above, as the current is weak and the entry is from a ladder at the boat's stern
