Diving & Snorkeling in Bang Bao is a guided boat excursion departing from the fishing village of Bang Bao on Koh Chang’s southwest coast. The trip takes participants to nearby coral reefs and submerged rock formations, where they can observe tropical fish, sea fans, and occasional reef sharks. Certified instructors lead dives for all levels, while snorkelers stay close to the boat in shallow, clear water.

What to expect

Boat trip lasts 4-5 hours, including two dive sites or three snorkel stops, with return to Bang Bao pier by mid-afternoon.
Full scuba equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins) and weights are included for certified divers; snorkel gear is provided for all.
Dive sites include Hin Luk Bat and Koh Yuak, with depths from 5 to 18 metres, suitable for beginners and advanced divers.
Snorkelers see hard coral gardens, clownfish, parrotfish, and occasionally blacktip reef sharks in water visibility of 10-20 metres.
