About this experience

Festivals in Cala Vadella is a seasonal programme of live music, dance, and cultural events held on the beachfront of Cala Vadella bay, Ibiza. The events run from late spring to early autumn, with each festival evening featuring a specific theme, such as flamenco, jazz, or traditional Ibizan folk performances. Attendees gather on the sand and at the adjacent terraces to watch performances against the backdrop of the bay's calm waters.

What to expect

Evening performances typically start at sunset and last 2-3 hours, with seating on the beach or at nearby bars
Each festival date features a distinct act, such as a live flamenco guitarist, a jazz quartet, or a local 'ball pages' folk dance troupe
Entry is free for spectators, though some events offer paid front-row seating or dinner packages at the beachfront restaurants
The programme includes family-friendly afternoon sessions on select dates, with children's workshops in drumming or traditional dance
Visitors can expect a relaxed, open-air atmosphere with the sound of waves mixing with amplified music, and easy access to food and drink stalls
The events suit couples and groups seeking a low-key cultural evening, rather than a large-scale party, with a capacity of roughly 300 attendees per show
