Question 1

What kind of marine life can I expect to see?

Accepted Answer

The Canary Islands are home to pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and sea turtles. You may also spot sperm whales, beaked whales, and various seabird species depending on the season.

Question 2

How long is the whale watching tour?

Accepted Answer

Most whale watching tours last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives enough time to find the animals, observe them in their natural habitat, and enjoy the coastal scenery.

Question 3

Is whale watching guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

While sightings are extremely common (over 90% success rate year-round), we cannot guarantee specific wildlife encounters. If no whales or dolphins are spotted, many operators offer a free return trip.

Question 4

Yes, whale watching tours are family-friendly and suitable for all ages. The boats are stable and equipped with safety gear. Life jackets are available for children.
