Yoga & Wellness in Gianyar is a structured wellness session held in the rice-field surrounds of central Bali, focusing on breathwork and guided asana. The class operates from a dedicated open-air studio in Gianyar regency, with sessions running daily at 8am and 4pm. Each 90-minute practice includes a herbal tea break and a short meditation on the adjacent river terrace.
What to expect
- 90-minute guided vinyasa flow with a certified Balinese instructor, capped at 12 participants per session
- Session includes a cold-pressed ginger shot, a 15-minute savasana with weighted eye pillows, and a printed sequence card to take home
- You practise on a bamboo platform overlooking the Petanu River gorge, with the sound of running water as the sole background
- Suitable for intermediate levels; modifications for knee or wrist sensitivity are offered via props such as bolsters and straps
- Post-class access to the on-site saltwater plunge pool and a towel service are included in the session fee
- Classes start punctually at 8am or 4pm; arrive 15 minutes early for a brief intake form and chakra-balancing consultation
