Surf Lessons in Karystos is a beginner-friendly surf school located on the southern coast of Euboea, just across from Aegina. The lessons take place on the exposed beach of Karystos Bay, where consistent summer meltemi winds create gentle rolling waves. Certified instructors provide all equipment and guide small groups through the basics of paddling, standing, and riding waves.

What to expect

Each lesson lasts 2 hours, including 30 minutes of land-based technique instruction and 90 minutes in the water
All equipment is provided: soft-top surfboard, leash, wetsuit, and reef-safe sunscreen
Groups are capped at 6 participants per instructor, ensuring individual feedback
You will practice on waist-deep water with sandy bottom, suitable for first-timers and children aged 8 and up
The session ends with a video replay of your ride, so you can see your progress
