Surf Lessons in Perdika is a structured surfing programme based on the beach of Perdika, a fishing village on the southwest coast of Aegina. The lessons cater to beginners and intermediate surfers, using the gentle Aegean waves that roll into the bay. Instruction covers board handling, paddling, and wave-catching techniques, with all equipment provided.

What to expect

Each lesson runs for 90 minutes, including a 15-minute land-based briefing on safety and technique.
A soft-top surfboard and wetsuit are included in the lesson fee, sized to your height and weight.
You will practise paddling and pop-up drills on the sand before entering the water, then catch waves under direct instructor guidance.
The teaching area is a shallow, sandy-bottomed bay with no rocks, making it suitable for first-timers aged 8 and above.
Groups are limited to six students per instructor, ensuring individual feedback on your stance and balance.
After the session, you can use the outdoor freshwater shower and store your gear at the surf shack for the rest of the day.
