About
When in Zakynthos (Zante), Dilemma Bar is the bar or nightlife venue at Alykanas Village Hotel, Alikanas 290 90, Grecia. The address places it in Alykanas, a village on the island's north-east coast, with Alykes and Zakynthos Town among the nearby places. It operates as a bar rather than a restaurant or hotel.
A 4.7 out of 5 rating from 199 reviews puts Dilemma Bar among the higher-scoring bars on Zakynthos, a figure that reflects consistent approval from a substantial stream of visitors. That review count is sizeable for a village bar, suggesting steady trade through the season. The venue's own website, http://dilemmabar.com/, carries further details about its programme. Five photos accompany the listing.
Dilemma Bar sits within the Alykanas Village Hotel complex, so its setting is a resort village rather than a town-centre strip. Alykanas and neighbouring Alykes form a pair of coastal settlements on the north-east shore, both listed among the island's nearby places. The bar's position makes it a natural stop for guests based in that part of Zakynthos.
Greece's islands follow a Mediterranean pattern, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, and the busiest stretch running from June to September. Greek island cooking leans on fresh seafood, olive oil, feta and other local cheeses, and grilled meats, all widely available around Alykanas. Ferries link the Greek islands, and flights from Athens and major hubs reach Zakynthos, so arrivals are straightforward. Greek is the main language, and a few words go a long way in village bars.
