Campsites in Pulau Seulako are a beachside camping ground on the small island of Pulau Seulako, off the coast of Weh (Sabang) in Aceh, Indonesia. The site offers tent pitches directly on sand facing the Andaman Sea, with basic facilities including shared toilets and a simple warung for meals. Campers arrive by boat from Sabang's Gapang or Iboih beaches, a 15-minute crossing, and stay overnight under a canopy of coconut palms.
What to expect
- Overnight tent rental includes a 2-person dome tent, foam mattress, and lantern, with check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 10:00
- Each pitch is roughly 4 by 4 metres on packed sand, set 10 metres from the high-tide line, with no electrical hookups
- Visitors snorkel directly off the beach in the morning, seeing parrotfish and hard corals within 20 metres of shore
- The on-site warung serves fried rice, instant noodles, and sweet coffee, with meals prepared between 07:00 and 20:00
- Shared cold-water showers and squat toilets are located in a concrete block 30 metres from the tent area, cleaned twice daily
- Suitable for independent travellers and small groups who carry their own drinking water, as no potable water is supplied on the island
