Best Friends
About
Best Friends, on Vancouver Island, is a canine coaching service that first-time visitors will find focused on practical, hands-on training rather than a drop-in play facility. The business sits within reach of several island communities, with Victoria, Nanaimo, Tofino, Ucluelet, Courtenay, Parksville, Port Alberni and Campbell River all nearby. That spread means owners travelling from almost any direction on the island can arrange a session without crossing to the mainland.
Clients have given Best Friends a 4.6 out of 5 average across 11 reviews, a small but consistent record of satisfaction. The website, http://www.bestfriendscaninecoaching.com/, carries the service's own description of its coaching approach. Because the review base is compact, the feedback reflects a close group of local dog owners rather than a broad tourist audience.
Reaching the service from the island's main towns is straightforward, since Vancouver Island's road network links the southern and central communities along the east coast. Visitors heading to Tofino or Ucluelet on the west coast can plan a stop en route. The island's wet, mild climate means outdoor training sessions stay comfortable through most of the year, though winter rain is a regular companion.
Canadian island food leans on Pacific salmon alongside Atlantic lobster and snow crab, so a post-session meal is rarely hard to find. English is the everyday language across Vancouver Island, which keeps booking and instructions simple for visitors from abroad.
