About this experience

Nightclubs in De Koog are the primary evening entertainment venues on Texel, located in the island's main resort village. These clubs offer late-night dancing and socialising for visitors and locals alike, with a focus on music and drinks. They operate seasonally, with the busiest periods during summer and school holidays.

What to expect

Doors typically open at 23:00 and close around 04:00, with peak crowds after midnight.
Entry fees range from 5 to 10 euros, often including a first drink or coat check.
DJs play a mix of mainstream pop, house, and Dutch hits, with themed nights on weekends.
Venues are small, with capacity under 300 people, creating an intimate dance floor.
The crowd is a mix of holidaymakers aged 18-35 and local islanders, with a casual dress code.
Some clubs host live acts or karaoke on weekdays, while Friday and Saturday are DJ-led nights.
