Silvana
About
Found on Tenerife, Silvana works as a hairdresser from Av. Maritima, 11, Loc 8, 38530 Candelaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Candelaria position puts the salon on the island's eastern coast, south of Santa Cruz and within reach of La Laguna.
Getting to Candelaria from the main resorts is manageable, since Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos connect to the eastern side by the island's motorway network. Santa Cruz and La Laguna sit close by, and Puerto de la Cruz lies further along the northern coast. Candelaria itself is a coastal town that makes the salon accessible from most bases on the island.
Silvana has built a 5 out of 5 average from 17 reviews, a score that reflects a small but satisfied local following rather than a high-volume operation. The salon works by appointment, so arranging a slot in advance is the practical route for a first visit.
Spanish is the main language on Tenerife, spoken with a distinctive Canarian accent and vocabulary, so a few words of Spanish help in a salon. Gofio, a toasted grain flour, appears in island breads, stews and desserts. The Canary Islands have a mild subtropical climate with warm, sunny weather for most of the year, and the main islands were home to the Guanche people before Spanish conquest in the fifteenth century.
