Puerto Rico's Caribbean setting brings a tropical climate, with the drier season generally running December to April and the wetter, more humid months from June to November. Food across the Caribbean mixes fresh seafood, tropical fruit, rice dishes and island-spiced cooking, which pairs well with an evening drink. The Caribbean islands are served by international flights and inter-island ferries and flights, and English and French are widely spoken across the islands. San Juan lies among the nearby places on Puerto Rico, while Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde, Ocean Park, Carolina, Bayamón and Ponce sit elsewhere on the island.
