Surf Lessons in Palermo offers structured surf coaching on the beaches of Mondello and Sferracavallo, Sicily. The activity provides beginner-friendly instruction with all necessary equipment, led by certified local surfers. Lessons focus on ocean safety, paddle technique, and wave riding fundamentals in the Mediterranean.
What to expect
- 2-hour group or private lesson on Mondello beach, with wetsuit and soft-top surfboard included
- Learn to read Sicilian surf conditions, including swell direction and rip current identification
- Practice pop-up and paddle techniques on the sand before entering the water
- Small group sizes of maximum 6 students per instructor ensure individual feedback
- Suitable for first-timers and intermediate surfers; minimum age is 8 years
- Post-lesson photo review session to analyse your wave-riding form
