What to expect

• Most restaurants sit directly on the seafront promenade, with outdoor terraces overlooking the Atlantic and the small fishing harbour.
• Typical menus include a starter of papas arrugadas with mojo sauce, followed by grilled cherne or vieja (local fish), priced around 12-18 euros per main course.
• Several venues offer a fixed-price lunch menu (menú del día) from 13:00 to 16:00, including two courses, bread, a drink, and dessert for roughly 10-12 euros.
• Evening dining runs from 19:30 to 22:30, with a focus on paella, seafood platters, and grilled octopus; reservations are recommended for the two larger restaurants on weekends.
• The dining area suits couples and small groups seeking unhurried meals; most tables are shaded by awnings or umbrellas, and highchairs are available in three of the five main eateries.
• Vegetarian options are limited but present, such as Canarian cheese salad, vegetable paella, and stuffed peppers; gluten-free bread is offered at two establishments.
