Piso Livadi's restaurants and dining scene clusters along the harbour front in the fishing village on Paros's eastern coast. Tavernas serve just-caught fish, grilled octopus, and local cheeses like xinomizithra, while cafés and ouzeries line the quay for sunset meals. The dining options range from casual souvlaki stands to sit-down seafood restaurants with tables overlooking the small boat harbour.
What to expect
- Most tavernas open at 12:00 for lunch and continue until 23:00, with peak seating between 20:00 and 22:00
- Fresh fish is priced by the kilo and displayed on ice at the entrance; ask for the day's catch before ordering
- Typical meal for two with starters, mains, and local wine costs between 45 and 70 euros
- Tables on the waterfront offer direct views of fishing boats and the ferry dock, but fill by 19:30 in July and August
- Menus include Parian specialties such as lamb with artichokes, chickpea soup (revithada), and louza (cured pork)
- Suitable for families, couples, and solo diners; most venues have English menus and accept card payments
