About this experience

Motorbike Rental in Playa de las Américas provides self-drive scooters and motorcycles for independent exploration of Tenerife's southern coast. The rental service operates from a central depot near the seafront promenade, offering helmets and third-party insurance with each booking. Customers choose from 125cc scooters for urban trips or larger bikes for mountain routes to Teide National Park.

What to expect

Rental durations range from 2 hours to 7 days, with a full tank of fuel provided at pickup and a return with the same level required
Each booking includes two helmets, a lock, and third-party liability insurance; full coverage is available for an additional fee
Riders receive a laminated map of recommended routes, including the coastal road to Los Cristianos and the inland climb to Vilaflor
The depot stocks both automatic scooters (suitable for car-licence holders) and manual motorcycles (requiring a valid A1 or A2 licence)
A 200 EUR security deposit is held on a credit card, refunded in full upon return of the bike without damage
The service suits solo travellers or couples, with a passenger seat and footpegs fitted on all models
