Horseback Riding in Dodong is a guided trail ride along the coastal paths of Dodong Village on Ulleungdo Island. Riders follow a designated route that offers views of the East Sea and the volcanic shoreline. The activity operates on a scheduled basis with horses suited to beginners and experienced riders alike.
What to expect
- Rides last approximately 40 minutes, covering a 2-kilometre loop from the Dodong stable to the coastal lookout point.
- Each booking includes a safety briefing, a helmet, and a lead guide who walks alongside the horse for first-time riders.
- The trail passes the Dodonghang Port, the Ulleungdo Lighthouse, and a section of the island's basalt cliff formations.
- Suitable for adults and children over 8 years old, with a weight limit of 90 kilograms per rider.
- Riders can choose a morning slot at 9:30 or an afternoon slot at 14:00, with a maximum of 6 riders per group.
