Held twice a week on the lively Avenida de la Constitución, the Candelaria Farmer's Market is a compact but vibrant spot to stock up on the island's freshest goods. With around 25 stalls, it's easy to browse in under an hour, yet you'll find a carefully curated selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, artisan cheeses, crusty breads, and local dairy products. The market is fully wheelchair accessible, and the friendly vendors are happy to offer samples or tips on how to prepare their produce. Arrive early (it opens at 8:00) for the best picks and a quieter experience. Bring cash, as not all stalls accept cards, and parking is available nearby but fills up quickly on Saturdays. After shopping, enjoy a coffee at one of the surrounding cafés or take a stroll to the nearby Basilica of Candelaria.
