Fond Bay Suites and Villa
About
Fond Bay Suites and Villa serves Saint Lucia from 12 Fond Bay Drive in Escap, on the island's eastern side. Guests have given it 4.7 out of 5 across 12 reviews, a small but consistently positive set of scores. Escap sits away from the busier northern corridor, and the island's main centres — Castries, Gros Islet, Rodney Bay, Soufrière, Marigot Bay, Anse La Raye, Canaries and Vieux Fort — are spread around the coast from there. Getting to the property from the larger resort towns involves a drive across the island, so arranging transport in advance suits most stays. As a hotel, it provides rooms for visitors who want a base on this side of Saint Lucia rather than in the north. Caribbean cooking often brings together rice, plantain and saltfish with Scotch bonnet and other hot peppers, a combination worth seeking out during a stay. Temperatures hold warm throughout the year, rarely dipping below the low twenties Celsius, which keeps outdoor plans viable in any month. The property's site, fondbaysuiteshotel.com, holds its own booking and contact details. Twelve reviews at 4.7 suggest that those who have stayed have come away satisfied with the choice.
