City Salon
About
City Salon, on Sri Lanka, sits along Galle Rd in Colombo 00600, a stretch that anchors the island's commercial capital. The salon holds a 4.2 out of 5 average from 28 reviews, a record built on regular local custom rather than passing traffic.
Colombo's grid puts City Salon within easy reach of the city's main districts, and the wider road network links the capital with Galle, Kandy, Negombo and Bentota to the south and centre. First-time visitors can expect a straightforward salon visit rather than a drawn-out appointment, with the rating reflecting steady satisfaction across nearly thirty reviews. The Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/share/1B5nZPUTNx/ carries the salon's own updates.
Its position in Colombo places the salon on the island's western coast, where the commercial core meets the Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka's central highlands rise cooler and wetter than the coastal plains, so a trip inland from Colombo brings a marked change in climate.
Buses serve most routes across the island, three-wheelers handle short hops, and traffic drives on the left, which visitors should keep in mind when crossing. Sri Lanka's tea and cinnamon crops shape much of what reaches the table, and Jaffna cooking brings its own spice blend to the island's food.
