Live Music in Kastelli is an evening concert series held in the historic Kastelli district on the island of Spetses. The performances take place in a stone-paved square beneath the old Venetian fortress walls, with the sea visible below. Each session features a rotating line-up of Greek and international musicians, playing from 9pm to midnight.
What to expect
- A two-hour live set starting at 9pm, with a 15-minute intermission
- Seating on wooden chairs and stone steps, with a clear view of the stage and the harbour lights
- Performances range from rebetiko and folk to jazz and acoustic covers, announced on a blackboard at the venue entrance
- A cash-only bar on site sells local wine, beer, and soft drinks, with no table service
- Suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over, with standing room available for late arrivals
- The event ends with a 10-minute encore, after which the square clears by midnight
