About this experience

Language Schools in Spetses Town offer structured Greek and English courses within the island’s main settlement, Spetses. These schools operate in the town’s stone-built buildings, providing small-group lessons for adults and children. Courses run year-round, with intensive summer programmes aligned to the tourist season.

What to expect

Classes are limited to 6-8 students per group, ensuring individual attention from certified instructors.
Standard courses run for 2 weeks, with 20 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes.
Materials include printed workbooks and audio resources; some schools offer free trial lessons on the first day.
Lessons take place in classrooms with sea views or in shaded courtyards, depending on the school building.
Suitable for beginners to advanced learners, with separate tracks for conversational Greek and exam preparation (e.g., CELC, IELTS).
Afternoon cultural workshops, such as Greek cooking or traditional dance, are optional add-ons at most schools.
