Hiking Tours in Spetses Town is a guided walking programme across the island’s pine-clad hills and coastal paths on Spetses. The tours operate from the town’s harbour front and cover 8–12 kilometres per route. Each excursion includes a certified local guide, trail snacks, and a map of the island’s network of footpaths.
What to expect
- Tours run daily at 9:00 and 16:00, lasting 3 to 4 hours with a mid-route rest stop at a stone-built water cistern.
- Routes pass the 19th-century Bouboulina Museum, the old olive press at Ligoneri, and the abandoned Anargyrios estate chapel.
- The coastal leg follows the marble-paved path from Agios Mamas beach to Zogeria bay, with views across the Argolic Gulf to the Peloponnese mainland.
- Each booking includes a reusable water bottle, a sun hat, and a printed flora guide listing 40 native species encountered on the trails.
- Suitable for walkers with moderate fitness; the steepest ascent is 180 metres to the Profitis Ilias summit, where a shaded stone bench offers a rest point.
