Scala e predi
About
Meet Scala e predi, a local business in Sardinia, a sports centre set in the uplands at Su Taccu, 08040 Osini OG, Italy. First-time visitors should expect a sports centre rather than a spectator attraction, with the focus on taking part. The venue sits inland, away from the coastal resort strip.
Scala e predi draws a 4.7 out of 5 average from 419 reviews, a strong showing that places it among the better-reviewed sports centres on the island. That volume of feedback suggests a steady stream of local and visiting users rather than a quiet, occasional operation. The venue's own page is hosted at http://www.sardegnaturismo.it/it/punto-di-interesse/scala-di-san-giorgio, where the regional tourism board lists it as a point of interest. Three photos accompany the listing.
Reaching the venue from the island's main towns means travelling inland rather than along the coast. Cagliari, Alghero, Olbia, Sassari, Nuoro and Oristano are all listed as nearby places, as are Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo. Drivers coming from any of these centres should plan for a cross-island approach to the Osini area.
Summers on the island are hot and dry while winters stay mild and wetter, and the busiest stretch for visitors runs from June to September. Italian island cooking leans on seafood, handmade pasta, olive oil and local wines, and the inland villages have their own robust traditions. Flights, ferries and hydrofoils link the island to the mainland, and Italian is the main language spoken. Visitors basing themselves in Cagliari or Nuoro can reach the venue as part of a wider inland loop.
