Franco Sainas s.a.s.
About
Franco Sainas s.a.s., on Sardinia, works as a car repair outfit on Via Trentino, 18, 09127 Cagliari CA, Italy, so first-time visitors should expect a workshop rather than a showroom. The premises sit in Cagliari, the island's southern capital, and the trade is repair work booked in advance rather than a walk-in retail counter.
Customers have left 22 reviews, and the average stands at 4.6 out of 5, a score that reflects steady approval from those who have used the workshop. The doors open Mo-Fr 08:00-13:00,15:00-18:00, with the long midday gap typical of Italian working days, so mornings and late afternoons are the practical windows. A website at http://www.sainas.it/2008/home.htm carries the workshop's own information.
Cagliari sits on the southern coast and is the most straightforward base for reaching the workshop, while Alghero, Olbia, Sassari, Nuoro and Oristano lie further across the island. Drivers coming from Costa Smeralda or Porto Cervo face a long run south, so planning a visit around the opening hours makes sense.
Sardinian winters are mild enough for walking, and many coastal restaurants shut during the quiet months, so a visit outside high summer changes what is open nearby. Seafood, handmade pasta, olive oil and local wines anchor the cooking on the island, which gives a repair trip an easy excuse for a long lunch.
