Centro Ippico Rionazza
About
On Sardinia, Centro Ippico Rionazza occupies a site along Strada Statale 131 Diramazione Centrale Nuorese, 09076 Sedilo OR, Italy. The centre is known for its equestrian facilities, set in the inland Oristano province rather than on the coast.
First-time visitors should expect a working sports centre with stables and riding areas, where the focus is on horses rather than spectator seating. A 4.9 out of 5 average from 16 reviews places it among the highest-scoring venues of its kind on the island. Its website, centroippicorionazza.it, carries further details for those planning a visit.
Reaching the centre from the main towns means driving, as Sedilo sits inland from Cagliari, Alghero, Olbia, Sassari, Nuoro, Oristano, Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo, and the SS131 diramazione is the practical route.
Sardinia's climate is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters, so spring and autumn suit outdoor riding better than the height of summer. Italian is the main language, with Sardinian and local dialects spoken alongside it, so a few words of Italian help when arranging a session.
