Surf Lessons in Sardinia is a guided surf school programme located on the island's west coast, near the town of Oristano. The lessons take place on sandy beaches with consistent Atlantic swells, suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers. Each session is led by certified instructors who provide equipment and safety briefings.
What to expect
- Lessons last 2 hours, including a 30-minute land-based technique drill and 90 minutes in the water
- All equipment is supplied: soft-top surfboard, wetsuit, and leash, sized to your height and skill level
- You will practise paddling, pop-up, and wave selection on a beach break with a sandy bottom and no rocks
- Groups are capped at 8 students per instructor, ensuring individual feedback on each ride
- Sessions run daily from May to October, with morning slots at 9:00 and afternoon slots at 14:00
- Suitable for ages 8 and up; non-swimmers can join using a foam board and flotation belt
