About
PDL Barbershop is a local business in São Miguel (Azores). The hairdresser trades from R. Dr. Aristides da Mota 19, 9500-054 Ponta Delgada, Portugal, in the island's main urban centre. Ponta Delgada is the island's main town, and Furnas and Ribeira Grande sit among the nearby areas. The shop is known for barbering and hairdressing, with a 4.9 out of 5 rating drawn from 37 customer reviews. Five photos on its listing show the premises and the work carried out there. Opening hours run Mo-Fr 09:00-13:00,14:30-18:30, with Saturday trading from 08:30 to 13:30 and Sunday and public holidays closed. Solo visitors and couples staying in Ponta Delgada can walk in during those weekday and Saturday windows. First-time visitors should expect a working barbershop rather than a salon chain, so booking ahead on a Saturday morning is sensible. São Miguel sits in a mild oceanic climate that keeps the landscape green all year, and summer is the driest, warmest stretch for a trim before heading out. Local kitchens serve fresh seafood, cheeses made on the islands, and wines grown in volcanic soil. Direct flights link the Azores with mainland Portugal and Europe, so a haircut can be slotted into an arrival day. Portuguese is the main language spoken, and a few words go a long way with the barber.
