Ginger Sushi Lounge
About
Ginger Sushi Lounge serves Santorini from Fira 847 00, on the caldera side of the island's capital.
Visitors have given it 4.6 out of 5 across 475 reviews, one of the larger bodies of feedback on the island. Fira sits at the centre of Santorini's road network, so the venue is easy to reach from Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani and Pyrgos, and the beach resort of Kamari lies a short drive away. Its position in Fira places it among the busiest streets on the island, within walking distance of the caldera viewpoints. The venue is a restaurant, and its website is at http://www.santorinisushi.com/. Diners can look up the menu online before setting out, and the review count of 475 suggests a steady stream of visitors through the season. Fira draws crowds from across the island, and a table here puts guests in the middle of that flow.
Greek is the main language, written in the Greek alphabet, which also appears on road signs and menus. Winter brings rain and rough seas, and many island hotels and tavernas shut between November and March. Monk seals and loggerhead turtles live around the islands, and many have protected nesting beaches.
