Pizza Box
About
Pizza Box, on Réunion, sits at 240 Rue du Maréchal Leclerc in Saint-Denis 97400, Reunión, placing it in the island's capital on the northern coast. First-time visitors should expect a straightforward pizzeria rather than a formal dining room, with the focus on takeaway-friendly food in a busy street setting. Saint-Denis itself is the island's main administrative and commercial centre, so the surroundings are urban rather than resort-like.
For anyone weighing it up before ordering, Pizza Box carries a 4 out of 5 average drawn from 51 reviews, a solid signal for a neighbourhood pizza stop. The venue keeps a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pizzabox786.re/, useful for checking what is on offer. Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, Saint-Pierre, Cilaos, Saint-Paul, Le Tampon, Sainte-Marie and Saint-Leu all sit within the island's road network, so a stop here fits into a wider tour.
Opening hours are not part of what is published here, so timing a visit around a meal service is worth planning ahead. The Facebook page is the venue's own channel for updates. Saint-Denis is well connected to the rest of Réunion by road, which makes reaching it from the main towns reasonably simple.
Visitors should note that Réunion lies in the cyclone belt, with the cyclone season running from November to April, so travel plans in those months benefit from flexibility. French is the official language, and Réunion Creole is spoken widely in daily life, so a few basic French phrases help when ordering. The island's highlands hold endemic plants and birds, while its coastal waters have coral reefs, giving a stay here plenty beyond the capital.
