Caribbean cooking brings together fresh seafood, tropical fruit, rice dishes and island-spiced flavours, so mealtimes around San Juan offer plenty to try. International flights and inter-island ferries connect the region, and English and French are widely spoken across the Caribbean islands, which eases navigation for visitors arriving from abroad.
