Puerto Rico lies in the Caribbean, where the drier months generally fall between December and April and the wetter, more humid stretch runs from June to November. Cooking across the region combines fresh seafood, tropical fruit, rice dishes and island-spiced flavours, so a steakhouse meal sits alongside a broader food culture worth exploring. International flights and inter-island ferries and flights connect the Caribbean islands, which makes moving between them straightforward. English and French are widely spoken across the Caribbean islands, easing navigation for many travellers.
